DAVID ABBOTT, MD, MRCP I have practiced medicine in Britain, Canada, and the United States, where I raised my two children. I am also a grandfather, a runner with twenty-plus marathons under my belt, and an environmentalist. I always maintained my ties to Britain, where I now live, and over the last decade I came to realise how much of all I value depends on ideas and traditions nurtured by Brits. I saw that these values were being deliberately ignored and, in some cases, destroyed. I could not sit around and let that happen. I decided to publicise the legacy of the BRITS AT THEIR BEST.
CATHERINE GLASS I am a graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University with a degree in Classical Greek. I have been an arts administrator and editor, and have written and published three books.
